    Sad news about malcolm young.
Perhaps some relief for his family though.
I shall raise my glass tonight and thank him for the incredible music.
    RIP.

Just an update on some COUNCIL stuff.
The new Low Bentham play area is having a muga
( multi user games area ) One of our specific requests was to make it big enough to play netball on.
Well the crew appear to have put up a basketball goal.
Seem this is how they come and we have to get it removed and changed for netball.
Our committee who deal with outdoor stuff such as this project have said they just want the job finished and then we can make the alterations ourselves.
Personally I am not very happy about this but I will push very hard to get it configured as we asked at the outset.

Having tried a few of the out of the box social scripts, They all seem to require you to log in, eg: create an account. What I was hoping for was a publicly viewable script but with a closed section.
For the time being, I will stay with this ( Oxwall ) as it is easy to edit on a mobile.
The desktop version will allow you to view the posts with out an account, just click join and you can see the time line. Nearly time for tea !

Yesterday I went to our local war memorial.
I had the honour of placing the town council poppy.
There was a good crowd there payibg their respects plus a contingent from the primary school, even though it was saturday.
Young Molly read a poem beautifully.
    a very enjoyable service.
Today being rememberance sunday I shall watch the service from Londons cenotaph and marvel at the veterans who still come to march despite their avanced age. Brilliant and makes me priud.
